In Our Community
When a vision becomes crystal clear, the next step is to share it with the community. The vision we are talking about is one of the largest social issues in Josephine County;
“How to improve the emergency food supply for struggling families”
The escalating demand for this service continues to grow and therefore the Food Bank and spirited members in our community set forth to accomplish this vision. We are talking about the funding and developing of Raptor Creek Farm.
There have been thousands of volunteer hours, multiple government grants, huge amounts of money pledged by local businesses, individuals, clubs and foundations. Along the way of the fundraising trail, generous donated items were welcomed and inspired thoughts were born as the project grew.
This vision has become a reality by the selfless individuals who made this possible. There are too many to list and even if we tried, we may forget to mention who they are, but there is no doubt that if you are one of the many who have been involved, you can be very proud to be a part of our community.
